The German Center for Research and Innovation (DWIH) New York convened the Future Forum at Johns Hopkins University in Washington D.C. on 31 October 2024, focusing on science diplomacy and emerging technologies.
The Future Forum also provided an opportunity for authors to meet and discuss their chapters in Science Diplomacy in an Era of Technological Disruption, which is a co-edited book with DWIH co-coordination. The design and contents of the Future Forum paralleled the three sections of this upcoming book: (1) Concepts; (2) Actors, Institutions and Networks; and (3) New Frontiers. Prof. Paul Arthur Berkman is contributing a Concepts chapter about Personal-to-Planetary Sustainability in Our World of Accelerating Technological Disruption.
