Celebrating our Blue Planet with Knowledge Discovery Across Centuries

Celebrating International Days, Years and Decades with the 2026 collage of the second WORLD DAY FOR GLACIERS on March 21st and WORLD WATER DAY on March 22nd, at the end  of the  International Year of Glaciers Preservation (IYGP) 2025, applying science diplomacy across the Decade of Action for Cryospheric Sciences (DACS) from 2025-2034 with the 5th International Polar Year (IPY5) in 2032-2033, extending the “oldest continuous climate research program created by humanity”, which started in 1882-1883 after the “Little Ice Age” that impacted the health and welfare of Europe during the preceding five centuries – triangulating the past, present and future with science for the benefit of all on Earth across generations.
